Cleaner Greener Services Standards
Once you have moved into a property the team at Salix Homes work hard to ensure you get the best out of your tenancy.
Salix Homes do not just manage your tenancy, we look after the surrounding area in which you live as well. Our officers are checking estates daily to ensure properties and the surrounding environment are kept to a good standard.
As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the environmental attractiveness of Central Salford, Salix Homes, in partnership with local residents, will carry out estate clean up days.
We will:
- Ensure Salford City Council's Environmental Services removes offensive graffiti within 24 hours of it being reported and all other graffiti within 48 hours. We will monitor levels of service provided by Environmental Services.
- Ensure that abandoned vehicles are removed within 28 days or if the vehicle is deemed dangerous within 24 hours of it being reported.
- Clean communal areas in low rise accommodation at least once a week.
- Clean communal areas in high rise accommodation every day.
- Ensure the Cleaner, Greener Team carry out monitoring visits to communal areas in high rise accommodation every week.
- Ensure that emergency contact details of duty block superintendents are displayed clearly in all our high rise accommodation.
- Remove items of bulk refuse from communal areas in high rise accommodation within 24 hours of it being reported.
- Carry out repairs and make safe all defects to communal areas in high rise accommodation that pose a risk to health and safety within twenty four hours of it being reported.
- Carry out monthly block inspections with customers.
- Carry out monthly estate walkabouts with customer reps and other key stakeholders.
