Salix Homes. Releasing the potential

Keep Warm, Keep Well this winter

Keep Warm Keep Well logo

This winter is predicted to be colder than last year and a cold home will have a significant impact on your health and wellbeing. It is vital therefore that you look after yourself this winter and stay warm and well during the cold winter months.

The government have produced a useful Keep Warm Keep Well information leaflet for people aged over 60. This gives lots of information and tips on:

  • How you can get financial help with your energy bills,
  • How you can save energy and money
  • How you can stay well and healthy

In January, we held a series of Keep Warm, Keep Well advice sessions, providing free advice, blankets and thermometers to help our most vulnerable customers keep warm and well this winter. You can find out more about the events and how we are helping you during one of the coldest winters in recent history by visiting our news pages. We still have a limited number of blankets available, so if you would like to claim one or get more advice about keeping warm and well this winter, please contact Salix Direct on 0800 218 2000 or email supporting.neighbourhoods@salixhomes.org.
