About Weaste and Seedley
The Weaste and Seedley area is situated to the south west of the Central Salford area. It covers sections of the wards of Langworthy, and Weaste and Seedley. These areas are all notable for their parks, leisure facilities, schools and excellent transport links.
Buile Hill Park - the city's flagship park - is situated within the area, as is Chimney-Pot Park and Lightoaks and Oakwood Parks are nearby. Clarendon, Eccles and Pendlebury Fit City Leisure Centres and the Watersports Centre at Salford Quays are close to the area.
The area varies in terms of property type and facilities, with large Victorian properties in the Claremont area to the North, predominately pre-1919 terrace properties within Seedley and a mixed bag of pre-1919 pavement terraces, large Victorian and post war semi- detached within Weaste.
