The panel will oversee the delivery of the Better Neighbourhoods Strategy and function at Salix Homes. The panel is responsible for:
- Monitor the delivery of the Better Neighbourhoods function and services in line with the Better Neighbourhoods Strategy and with regard to the Service Action Plan and Business Plan (Including Customer Business Plan).
- To be involved in any review of the Better Neighbourhoods services or function and make recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, particularly in relation to the regeneration function and neighbourhood and blueprint indicators.
- Develop links and channels of communication with the other panels to ensure continuity of service standards, benchmarking, sharing good practice, and networking
- Provide a nominated member to the Customer Senate and the Communications Panel.
The panel has a forward plan of business that supports the service action plan and the panel is integral to delivering service improvements.
