Furnished properties

Furnished homes are available in specific locations in the city and are provided by Housing Connections Partnership.

When you have a partly furnished home, your accomodation might have carpets, curtains, cookers and a fridge or fridge/freezer. Fully furnished flats also have lounge and bedroom furniture.

A service charge is added to your basic rent to cover the cost of furniture. If you're on housing benefit, your money may cover this additional cost.

If you have a furnished home it's important that you take care of the furniture and keep it in good condition. You also need to let Furnished Homes officers from the Housing Connections Partnership in to check the furnishings.

If you rent an unfurnished property it's not possible to add a package of furnitue to that property.
