Autumn Festival 2008
Tuesday 28th October 2008 saw the Salix Homes Autumn Festival take over Primrose Hill School and Childrens Centre in Ordsall. There was a great turn-out despite the drop in temperature and the chill in the air! Customers were treated to some very energetic belly dancing and there was an abundance of tasty food and hot drinks, and of course many stalls embracing the Halloween theme with quizes, prizes and give aways. It was good to see some new faces at the Festival too, and some great childrens costumes for the fancy dress competitions which were held throughout the day. Some customer comments about the day included;

“The event engaged with customers from Ordsall who we rarely see at customer events, but more importantly we reached lots of young people, who thoroughly enjoyed the day. Your idea to offer the Wii consoles as prizes for the fancy dress brought many a smile to those who entered and particularly those who won”.
