The Salix Homes Board

Salix Homes is run by a Board of Management made up equally of four customers, four independent people with professional skills to help run the service and four Councillors from all political parties.
What the Board do
The Board Members combine their skills and experience to make the best decisions to shape the future of your homes in Central Salford.
The role of the Board includes:
- scrutinising the effectiveness of Salix Homes;
- monitoring the performance of Salix Homes;
- drafting the constitution of Salix Homes;
- agreeing the Annual Delivery Plan with the Council;
- approving the budgets;
- agreeing policies and make decisions on financial matters;
- making sure that Salix Homes is run lawfully and ethically.
