Do you feel you haven’t been listened to in the past?

We recognise that many of you may feel you haven’t been listened to in the past and your views haven’t been acted on. Things are different at Salix Homes. We are committed to ensuring you feel valued, respected and listened to. You are at the heart of everything we do and so we genuinely want to know what you think is good or bad about a service you receive; how you think we can improve and what matters to you as individuals.

Together we can develop services that continuously improve!

What is Customer Involvement?

By ‘Customer’, we mean people who receive our services, this includes tenants, leaseholders, former tenants who have bought their home under the Right to Buy scheme, those in sheltered housing, people on the housing register and private residents living in the regeneration areas where we work. In short, we involve customers from all tenures.

By 'Involvement' we mean customers helping us to shape, improve and manage the services we provide. We offer a variety of ways for you to become involved at a level which suits you.

You can give as much, or as little time as you want, the choice is yours.

You don't need to be an expert, all you need is an opinion and be able to spare some time.

Customer Involvement Team

We have a dedicated team who can provide you with information, support, advice and development to help become involved.

The team is responsible for the plan of future Customer Involvement in Central Salford.  The Customer Involvement Strategy will provide the basis of the approach Salix Homes will take to engage with our customers to provide them with a range of opportunities to express their views on the quality and range of services that we offer. It is hoped that the new approach being proposed will excite our customers and encourage more people to become involved in ways that fit in with their own capacity and time constraints. The development of an incentive scheme will also see customers and their neighbourhoods directly benefit from their involvement. What's Involved?

Well, that’s up to you! To make sure that as many of you as possible can be involved in improving our services, we have developed a whole menu of different ways you can get involved with different time commitments. Even these have been developed in consultation with our customers!

Which ever option you choose, you will have the full support of our Customer Involvement Team.
