Hankinson Way re-vamp gets a grand launch
Our Hankinson Way office at Salford Shopping City in Pendleton has been given a fantastic make-over that has bowled over many of the customers who have popped in.
To mark the exciting changes we welcomed residents, the Chair of our Board Peter Styche and also Councillor Peter Connor who did the honours and cut the green ribbon to officially declare the office open for business.
The launch saw staff and customers have a bite to eat of our specially prepared green cupcakes, and gave everyone a chance to see the new facilities for themselves.
The once cramped office is now home to a larger usable space with a big expanse of counter that gives our customers better access to members of staff. We'd like to think that the changes reflect the friendly and approachable nature of staff who are happy to help with enquiries.
There is also a new high tech security system that's linked to our 1st Response control room, disabled access, and additional seating. Not only that but more customers can been seen at once, cutting down waiting time considerably.
The changes to the office were as a direct result of both staff and customer feedback. With a poor layout, no disabled facilities and no desk space for staff the decision to ring the changes was an easy one to make and ensures that the services that we are able to offer continue to improve.
Don't take our word for it, just pop in and see us!
