Rent rise reduced to help with your finances

We are happy to announce that after joint pressure from us and Salford City Council we are seeking to reduce this years expected rent increases to help out our tenants through these tough economic times.

Rents for social housing across the country have been increased by 6.2%, as part of the annual rent increases. However, Salix Homes have already worked to increase this by 5%. Councils are now able to apply for extra government funding which will help reduce rent rises below this level.

Until this level is confirmed it is important to continue paying your rent.
