Does something in your home need fixing? Most repairs are free and, don’t worry, if there’s a charge, we’ll make sure you know about it in advance.

The first thing to do is report the repair. You can do this in a number of ways.

• Call Salix Direct on 0800 218 2000.

• Report the repair online. Click here

• Report the repair at your Neighbourhood Office.

Give us as much information as possible about the repair and tell us how to contact you during the day so that we can make an appointment to visit your home.

For your security and peace of mind, we’ll ask you if you’d like a password. This can be any word of your choice. Only Salix Homes employees and partner companies will know this password and you should make sure they quote it before you give them access to your home.

Out of hours repairs
Our freephone service can be accessed 24-7. So, if you need to report a repair between 6:30pm and 8:30am you can still call 0800 218 2000.

Emergency repairs
If you have an emergency repair and it is between 6:30pm and 8:30am we will take action to make sure that the repair does not pose a danger to you, others or your home. We will make the repair during the out of hours period if this is possible, however it may require us to come back to complete the repair the follwoing day. To report an emergency repair out of hours, just call 0800 218 2000 and follow the option to speak to our out of hours team, by pressing '1' on your phone.

Non-emergency repairs
If you need to report any other repairs between 6:30pm and 8:30am you can call our freephone service on 0800 218 2000 and leave a recorded message with Salix Direct. They will call you back the following day to discuss your request in more detail. Alternatively, you can report the repair online by clicking here.
