Salford stars shine brightly
As part of the Salix Homes Customer Involvement Strategy, we held our very own 'Salford Stars' Award event on Friday 16 January 2009, at The Lowry Centre, Salford. The event, sponsored by Jackson Lloyd, Apollo, Aon, Forrest, Bramall Construction and Seddon, recognised and celebrated the wonderful work done by customers who volunteer and get involved with services in their neighbourhoods - with some truly inspiring stories.
The evening, hosted by Fred Fielder MBE, saw our guests enjoy a glittering evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing as the awards were given out to those deserving individuals. The evening also saw the premiere screening of 'Who Cares', a short film by Lower Kersal Young People's Group, showing how Anti-Social Behaviour can have a negative impact on a whole community.
And the winners were...
