	Salix Homes 'Salford Stars' Event 19th January 2009 As part of Salix Homes Customer Involvement Strategy, we are hosting an event on the evening of Friday, 16th January 2009, at The Lowry Centre, Salford. The event will celebrate customers who volunteer and get involved with the services in Central Salford.

	Digital TV switchover. The digital switchover is the biggest thing to happen to TV since the introduction of the colour TV. It is the process of converting ther UK's analogue television system to digital, which will mean that most UK households will be able to receive digital TV through their aerial (Freeview). The switchover for Greater Manchester (Granada Region) is from 4th November 2009.
