What is Customer Involvement?
By ‘Customer', we mean people who receive our services, this includes tenants, leaseholders, former tenants who have bought their home under the Right to Buy scheme, those in sheltered housing, people on the housing register and private residents living in the regeneration areas where we work. In short, we involve customers from all tenures.
By 'Involvement' we mean customers helping us to shape, improve and manage the services we provide. We offer a variety of ways for you to become involved at a level which suits you.
You can give as much, or as little time as you want, the choice is yours.
You don't need to be an expert, all you need is an opinion and be able to spare some time.

We have a dedicated team who can provide you with information, support, advice and development to help become involved.
The Total Salix Strategy provides the basis of the approach Salix Homes will take to engage with our customers to provide them with a range of opportunities to express their views on the quality and range of services that we offer.
It is hoped that the new approach being proposed will excite our customers and encourage more people to become involved in ways that fit in with their own capacity and time constraints.
